Carmen Rosel-Riedel is an educated goldsmith. From her earliest youth Carmen has been excited about painting and crafts, she was fortunate enough to have a mother who was highly creative. Together they enjoyed exploring traditional and new technical and creative techniques.
When she was 16 she had a three weeks stay in the Pforzheim Jewelry City in Germany. This stay was the foundation for her passion for making jewelry and at the age of 19 she decided to permanently move to Pforzheim. Over the next many years she met a lot of people who inspired and motivated her in her work. Carmen has a constant need for improving herself, she believes that if all people could live their lives in real creativity, there would be less fighting and ruthlessness in the world.
Today Carmen has her own goldsmith establishment.
"For me Trollbeads is jewelry with the bracelet as the platform and upon that platform the individual person is able to make their own designs. I find lots of possibilities in the various symbols and many designs in the collection. It is like going through a secret door and discovering hidden feelings and experiences being brought to life. Every day is new".
